A analytical viscoelastic analysis of
a composite spring was completed for a tolerance sensitive
design. The analysis included temperature dependent material property modeling
to track the use of the spring part through production, assembly, storage
and final use in an automated test machine for the medical industry.
The initial phases of the project include a detailed design and manufacturability
review of the spring concepts developed by the client company. The analyses
included functionality and features analysis and supported by the risks
and benefits of the design.
