A detailed design review and brain storming session was completed
to enhance the safety of a childs play table. The design intent of the original
concept was to provide a compact packaging of the play table in two pieces
when sent to the consumer. The consumer was expected to assemble the play
table and it was to snap together once and to not unsnap. Recommendations
were made to the design to minimize the likelihood of pinching when the
table was under load.
